Calling all NFG’s and Old B*stards, Assorted YB Militiamen, Rovers, Wanderers, Celts, Scots, Picts, Brits, Frogs, Ancient Mariners, Old Soldiers, Jarheads, Roman Centurions, MacHinery Heads, Gear Heads, Airheads, Airdales, and Alsatians; and anyone else heading for the Vanilla Bean in Pomfret, CT this Sunday.

You have an opportunity to participate in a close order drill maneuvering to the Bean under the leadership of the Consummate Consumer, Bob Pipes, master of the backest of back roads to Pomfret.

Meet up at the Olde YB Meeting House, aka The Colonial, aka Vincenzo’s Italian Style Restautrante, now defunct , on Route 140 at the Franklin Bellingham line, 2.1 miles outside of Route 495

Rendezvous at 7:45, ETD 8:00, ETA Pomfret 9:15.

So stop worrying about how to lay up your gas tank for the winter, and do all the Gra Wun stuff, you know, buff ‘em and grease ‘em and gas ‘em and oil ‘em and air up dem tyres. The Thompson Dam is awaiting your passage.
