TinButters are out there, somewhere having a  500 mile Ride & a fine time. One of the
great things about the Yankee Beemers ...... our club offers more Rides & Stuff
than most folks can find time for.   Traditionally our August meeting is a Wednesday
evening because August weekends are too chocablock full of riding and rallys
to clutter the third Sunday with a Breakfast.  This year's Wednesday meeting
(August 18)will be a BratWurst Festival at the Holliston Country Club.
Check out  the YB calendar (yankeebeemers.org) for details. Bring yr
mind, body, spirit, soul, signicant other, serious squeeze, bike, truck,
van, suv, sportycar, or whatever makes you feel good  and chow down,
eatup, or fressen alles. Ride to Eat, Eat to Ride.

Sunday August 22 is Parade Day for the Heath Fair. .Dana Lewis has
invited all Yankee Beemers to ride in this Parade as a Tribute to Lorin
Gowdy. If you knew Lorin and know Dana you undoubtedly understand and
appreciate the import  of this effort. If you didnā^Ą^Łt know Lorin, and
don't know Dana it's time to meet Dana & learn aboout Lorin.. We
will be queing up in Heath at noon. To Be there on time we will leave
Cambridge at 8:00AM., leave Maynard at 8:30AM & ride MA 62, 122 and 2 to
Erving and stop at the Boxcar at probably 10:00AM. This schedule should
bring us to Heath at about 11:00AM... We do not want to be late for
Lorin, and we want you to ride with us. Please let us know if you are
wiith us, You could also go to the Yankke Beemer MessageBoard and post
your intent on Dana's request for a show of hands. Beyond riding for
Lorin there are many outstanding roads, restaurants and, of course, The
Heathens' Fair.
