They were the only Riders. Good on Them. OutRiders Ride. January belonged to Mother Cold , The Go-Karters & The Bashers. So what will February bring.....????? Those who are plugged in, plugged up, current, au courant and connected know that on Sunday February 15 the Yankee Beemers will break bread for the first time evah at Ma Glockner's beloved and esteemed chicken coop on Maple Street on the outskirts of beeyouteeful Bellingham. It's important for all practicing CamTiggers & OutRiders to be present for this historical event. & to that end here's a couple of plans. Here we sit staring at the AccuWeather ..... the next six days look very promising .... but Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday the 12th, 13th,14th & 15th look wikkid mean, dismal and downright ugly. Thursday 35/22 snow & snow, Friday 32/17 snow & cloudy, Saturday 28/14 cold & cloudy, Sunday 26/13 chance of snow & very cold. Do we really wanna suit up, mount up & ride at 6:30AM in the mostlydark at 14 degrees fahrenheit looking forward to 26 degrees and maybe some snow? Highly unlikely.... So PLAN A is:......anybody wants to ride to MaGlockner's in mallory's RamVan leave a message on 617 876 4372.. And PLAN B goes like: ........ HolySmoke ....check the weather Dude.! those AccuTypes wusn't even close It's Saturday already & it's been raining for two days & the wind is coming in from the southwest, temps are rocketing into the forties & it's time to Ride. !!! And if you have no idea where the DonutDump is try the Alewife Brook Parkway opposite Bread&Circus which is now called something utterly forgetable but groovy & natural. real close to FreshPond in Cambridge.
